cancellation & absence policy
Life happens, and I do my best to be flexible. If you need to cancel or reschedule a session, please notify me at least 24 hours in advance to avoid being charged.

If something unexpected comes up last-minute, I understand. For extenuating circumstances, please reach out as soon as possible—ideally at least 3 hours before the session. The first short-notice cancellation won’t be charged. After that, missed or late-canceled sessions without sufficient notice may be charged in full.
tardiness policy
If your student is running late, please let me know as soon as possible with an estimated sign-on time. Sessions will be held for up to 15 minutes past the scheduled start time. After that, the session may be considered a missed appointment and subject to full charge.

Exceptions may be made for unavoidable issues like technical difficulties—just keep me in the loop!
illness policy
If your student is feeling unwell, please use your best judgment when deciding whether to attend, cancel, or reschedule a virtual session. I trust families to do what’s best, and I’m happy to work with you to adjust plans as needed.
student preparation policy
Students should come to each session prepared with their materials and, ideally, a general idea of their goals or focus areas for the day. If materials or resources are needed from me, please let me know at least 36 hours in advance, and I’ll be happy to provide anything appropriate to support the session.
